My theatre extravaganza weekend continues with Legally Blonde as performed by the Alexander Children’s Theatre School. This musical is a keeper. I predict it will still be popular when Reese Witherspoon is an old woman! Is it too mature for a high school theatre club to put on? I think not, especially if a few lines are tweaked. “We did it all night” becomes “We hung out all night” ? At least that’s better than “We told jokes under the dock” which is the replacement line for “We made out under the dock” in the school version of Grease. Lame!
